ldfades One of the best death metal albums of 2024 so far. It’s nestled nicely in my Bandcamp collection but please get this on the streaming platforms for the wider audience to enjoy.

Anthony Fox This is an awesome sort of updated osdm album. There’s definitely some Immolation style dissonance here, also some Incantation style low tremolo picked rhythms. It’s all very dark and menacing but well produced, fairly modern, but not sterile, and not drenched in too much reverb like a lot of these cavernous type death metal albums are. The solos shred. Just a really good album. Favorite track: Crawling Into Mental Obliteration.

StillbirthMockery Pummelling death metal in the vein of Immolation's Dawn of Possession, augmented with furiuos single-foot blasting and that morbidly melodic touch that is the Chilean scene's signature. No cheap cavebrOSDM mosh grooves and HM2 bullshit here; thrashing savagery is their strength and it hearkens to a distinctly American take on this style refreshing in today's oversaturated, trendy climate.
